U2: Red Rocks, Colorado

U2 played at Red Rocks Amphitheater

on June 5, 1983 and the video/concert was actually named into Rolling Stone's "50 Moments that Changed the History of Rock and Roll."

I grew up in the 80s and remembered MTV playing snippets from the video concert all of the time.  This video just came out below and I thought many folks who lived through the 80s would reminisce a little bit.

They are one of the biggest and best bands of all time! Do you agree with that statement?  I'd love to hear your comments below.

Can you believe how young Bono and the other members looked back then? They made three live recordings of the "War Tour" in Colorado, Boston and Germany in 1983.  The title of the album is called Under a Blood Red Sky.

You can see that he's aged like all of us.

Did you happen to be at that concert?  People would love to hear your stories and if you have any pictures, that would be a bonus.  I'll publish your story in the Colorado Newsletter for 1000s of people to read.
